Similar to dry spray shampoo, foaming dry shampoo refreshes your hair in between washes. Since dry spray shampoo can leave a residue and often leaves hair looking matte, foaming dry shampoo is a more moisturizing, longer-lasting option that can be set with a quick blowdry or can air dry in just a few minutes. Try Pantene Dry Shampoo, or if you’re looking for an even glossier shine, check out Batiste Cleansing Foam with Almond Oil or Batiste Cleansing Foam Cleanse + Shine with Coconut Milk.
Shampoo bars are an eco-friendly answer to hair care. They have less plastic packaging, take up less space—which makes them perfect for traveling—and many can last for up to 80 washes. That’s around 2-3 bottles of regular shampoo! And using them is simple, just wet the bar and rub around your hair and hairline close to the scalp until it starts to foam, and then massage in through your hair like regular shampoo. If you’re looking to detoxify and refresh your hair, use a charcoal shampoo bar like Soapbox Activated Charcoal Shampoo Bar. If you want to save even more money and shower space, pick up a shampoo bar that does double duty like Love Beauty and Planet Shampoo & Conditioner Bar.
Purple shampoo uses purple color pigment to neutralize yellow or brassy tones in blonde or gray hair resulting in brighter, cleaner hair color. When using purple shampoo, be sure to only use the amount recommended on the bottle and not to leave it in too long since longer exposure can leave some purple behind—especially on very light blonde hair. For best results, use a purple shampoo and conditioner like Sun Bum Shampoo and Sun Bum Conditioner.
