FUELPERKS+® TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY. BY SIGNING UP FOR OR PARTICIPATING IN fuelperks+® OR OTHERWISE AGREEING TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND RECOGNIZE THAT YOU MAY BE WAIVING CERTAIN RIGHTS.
YOUR CONTINUED PARTICIPATION IN fuelperks+® IS SUBJECT TO YOUR CONTINUED COMPLIANCE WITH THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, YOU MAY NOT PARTICIPATE IN fuelperks+®.
CONTINUED PARTICIPATION IN fuelperks+® AFTER CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE REVISED TERMS AND CONDITIONS THEN IN EFFECT. YOU AGREE THAT YOU WILL REVIEW THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS PERIODICALLY AND THAT YOU SHALL BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND ANY MODIFICATIONS TO THEM.
We hope you will familiarize yourself with these fuelperks+® Terms and Conditions, because they reflect our understanding of how the Program operates, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you. If there’s anything you don’t understand, ask us, either by sending us a note or calling Customer Care at 1–800–553–2324.
Each time you use your Card, you earn 1 perk for every $1 spent inside Giant Eagle®, Market District® and GetGo® (“Participating Locations”) – including groceries, prescription co-pays, Curbside Pickup & Delivery orders, and gift cards (subject to certain exclusions and limitations as outlined in the Exclusions and Purchase Restrictions section below and elsewhere within these fuelperks+® Terms and Conditions), (each a “Qualifying Purchase”). You earn 2 perks for every 1 gallon of fuel you pump at GetGo®.
For every 50 perks accumulated on Qualifying Purchases, you earn a reward of 2% off a future grocery order (maximum 20% off any single order) or 10¢ off per gallon of gas at GetGo®.
From time to time, Participating Locations will offer limited-time promotions which, if taken advantage of will earn bonus perks in addition to the perks listed in these terms. Bonus perks may carry additional restrictions which will be disclosed either at the point of sale, through promotion signage, or in other forms of communication as outlined in the Special Promotions section of these terms.
You choose how you would like to use your rewards. You can redeem up to 20% off any grocery order (in a single transaction of up to $10,000 in qualifying purchases) or as much as a free tank of gas (up to 30 gallons of fuel in a single transaction for one vehicle). Rewards accumulated beyond the current price of fuel or above 20% may be used on a future shopping trip. Rewards may be used in addition to any discounts available for using AdvantagePay®, if you are registered for the AdvantagePay® program.
The newest version of the physical Card is ready to earn perks right away, but you must visit gianteagle.com/enroll and enroll the card under your name to start redeeming perks. If you don’t have access to a computer, visit the Guest Services Desk at your local Giant Eagle® or Market District® and they will help you enroll your Card.
Additional Program Details
You must present your Card to be scanned at the time of purchase at Participating Locations. If you forget to scan your Card but have your receipt, please contact the Giant Eagle Customer Care department at 1-800-553-2324 with your receipt information, they may be able to assign the proper perk amount to your Card for that transaction.
Perks and rewards will be tracked electronically on your Card or digital account and will be displayed on your receipt, in the Giant Eagle® and GetGo® mobile apps (if you have downloaded it to your smartphone), and on our websites, located at gianteagle.com, marketdistrict.com, and getgocafe.com.
You will not earn perks on purchases for which you are redeeming rewards. In addition, all gift card purchases will earn perks even if purchased when redeeming perks on the remainder of the order. Likewise, any bonus perks earned during a redemption transaction will still be earned.
Expiration of Perks
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE HAVE EXTENDED THE PERKS EXPIRATION PERIOD TO DECEMBER 31, 2022. This means that you can use your perks until December 31, 2022, at which time any remaining perks will expire in accordance with these fuelperks+® Terms and Conditions or, if you switch to myPerks®, in accordance with the myPerks® Terms and Conditions available here and any other information we have provided regarding the switch from fuelperks+® to myPerks®. After December 31, 2022, the expiration of perks are as follows: Your perks will expire on rolling Tuesday cycles no earlier than two months after the month in which they are earned. Your account is randomly assigned to the first, second, third or fourth Tuesday of the month and perks will always expire on the assigned Tuesday.
The perks in your account will expire, on average, approximately 75 days after they are earned if not used for discounts or free products. In addition, when you redeem perks any remaining “amount towards your next reward” that has not yet reached the 50 perks required to be converted into a reward will be reset to zero.
Customers who have not earned at least 50 redeemable perks within a calendar month will have the perks in their “amount towards next reward” reset to zero at the end of each month.
Any perks not reset at the end of a month can be combined with perks earned the next month and will become redeemable perks every time you reach 50 perks.
When you use your rewards for discounts on purchases, the amount of discount you receive is calculated after all store discounts, all coupons (including manufacturer coupons), gift card purchases and anything listed in the Exclusions and Purchase Restrictions below have been subtracted from the order. In all cases, perks are not earned on the amount of sales tax and/or other taxes paid by the consumer.
From time to time, Giant Eagle®, Market District®, and GetGo® will offer special promotions to a specific customer database, or a geographic market, that may not be offered to everyone. If you are part of that special market, notice will be made to you via in-app messaging, store signage, circular distribution, or through email if you have provided one. Information on the details, limitations, perks accumulation, and expiration of these special promotions will be included in the notice.
Exclusions and Purchase Restrictions
Perks are not earned on purchases of alcohol and tobacco products, price-controlled milk products (PA only), and any other items prohibited by law. Perks are not earned on state and federally funded prescription purchases, including, but not limited to Medicare, Tricare, Medicaid, and PACE, excluding out-of-pocket pharmacy totals, (such as deductibles and co-payments for prescriptions).
Perks are not earned on Giant Eagle®, Market District®, or GetGo® gift card, or on Visa prepaid reloadable cards. Amazon gift cards earn perks at a rate of one-half of a perk for each $1 spent on such gift cards and will be excluded from any bonus perks offers or events. Visa and Mastercard branded cards are excluded from any bonus perk offers or events.
Lottery tickets, postage stamps, kerosene, money orders, Western Union, WetGo Unlimited® and money transfer transactions are not eligible for perks. Purchases for entertainment options such as Redbox or similar services, amusement or entertainment tickets, Market District® cooking school classes, and wine or beer dinner tickets do not earn perks. Administrative activities, including but not limited to the purchase of copy or fax machine services, delivery charges, fundraising activities, donations, returned check services fees, do not earn perks. In all cases, you do not earn perks on the amount of sales tax and/or other taxes paid in a transaction.
Redemption Exclusions and Restrictions
Redemption of rewards for discounts cannot be applied toward the purchase of any of the following: gift cards, telecom products, alcohol or tobacco products, price-controlled milk products purchased in Pennsylvania, kerosene, Visa prepaid reloadable cards, any prescriptions (including third party insurance or government programs such as Medicare, Tricare, Medicaid or PACE programs), lottery tickets, postage stamps, money orders, Western Union money transfer transactions, Redbox, amusement or entertainment tickets, Market District® restaurant purchases, Market District® cooking school classes, wine or beer dinner tickets, copy or fax machine service, delivery charges, fundraising activities, donations, returned check service fees, ship to home items and any other items prohibited by law. Perks are never redeemable for cash, have no cash value and are not valid with any other offer, except as outlined herein or in the Special Promotions section above or elsewhere in these terms and conditions. Perks and rewards cannot be sold or in any way transferred to other Card accounts, people, or organizations. You may be removed permanently from the Program or suspended for engaging in any actions that, in the sole and exclusive determination of Giant Eagle®, undermine or attempt to circumvent these terms, the fair use, and/or fair play of the Program. Only one Card and account per natural person.
Specific to fuel, you are limited to a maximum of five fuel redemptions per day and 30 fuel redemptions in any calendar month.
PROGRAM MODIFICATIONS AND TERMINATION
GIANT EAGLE®, MARKET DISTRICT®, AND GETGO® RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DISCONTINUE, REDUCE OR MODIFY THIS PROGRAM AT ANY TIME, EITHER ACROSS MARKETS OR WITHIN SPECIFIC STORE OR GEOGRAPHIC MARKETS, AND WITH LIMITED OR NO ADVANCED NOTICE. ANY CHANGES TO THE PROGRAM THAT AFFECT EVERYONE WILL BE REFLECTED IN THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. ANY SIGNIFICANT CHANGES TO THE PROGRAM (OTHER THAN SPECIAL PROMOTION, WHICH WILL BE COMMUNICATED AS OUTLINED BELOW) THAT AFFECT ONLY SPECIFIC MARKETS, WILL BE REFLECTED IN STORE SIGNAGE, CIRCULAR OR OTHER MESSAGING AND EMAIL COMMUNICATION, IF YOU HAVE PROVIDED YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS.
Any significant changes to the program will be prospective and you will have the opportunity to redeem any previously earned perks prior to the effective date of the changes to the program.

Do I need anything to participate in fuelperks+?
All you need is an Advantage Card! Scan your Advantage Card each time you shop at any Giant Eagle, Market District, or GetGo locations to track when you earn and redeem perks.
How do I get an Advantage Card?
You can visit the Customer Service Desk at your neighborhood Giant Eagle or Market District to get an Advantage Card or ask a Team Member at our GetGo locations. The newest version of our Advantage Cards are ready to earn perks right away, but you must visit fuelperksplus.com and enroll the card under your name to start redeeming perks. If you don’t have access to a computer, visit the Customer Service Desk at your local Giant Eagle or Market District and they will help you enroll your Advantage Card.
What is my amount towards next reward? Is it different from the redeemable perks I have earned?Any perks you earn are counted as your amount towards next reward. When your amount towards next reward hits 50 perks, those perks become redeemable perks, good for 2% off groceries or $0.10 cents off per gallon of gas.
So if you earn 65 perks, 50 of those perks turn into redeemable perks you can use to get 2% off groceries or $0.10 cents off per gallon of gas. The other 15 perks are your amount towards next reward. You can view your amount towards next reward and redeemable perks on your receipts, in the Giant Eagle app or by logging into your account on gianteagle.com.
I lost some extra perks when I redeemed. What happened?
When you redeem perks, any perks in your amount towards next reward are reset to zero. Any redeemable perks you have left will remain.
Example: If you have 711 perks and you redeem 500 perks to take 20% off your grocery order, you will have 200 redeemable perks left over and 11 perks in your amount towards next reward will be reset to zero.
I heard I have to earn 50 redeemable perks each month to keep my amount towards next reward. What does that mean?
Every time you reach 50 perks, the perks in your amount towards next reward become redeemable perks. You need to do that once per month or your amount towards next reward will be reset to zero at the end of the month. If you have perks left in your amount towards next from last month, those perks will count towards your 50 perks for the current month. Let’s look at some examples below.
Example 1: If you have 15 perks in your amount toward next reward at the end of February, and you earn 40 perks in the month of March, your amount towards next reward will not be reset at the end of March. The 15 perks and 40 perks converted into 50 redeemable perks and 5 perks are in the amount towards next reward.
Example 2: If you earn 57 perks in March, 50 perks become redeemable perks and 7 are in the amount toward next reward. If no more perks are earned in April, we will reset the 7 perks in the “amount toward next reward” to zero because 50 perks were not reached in the month of April. You would keep the 50 redeemable perks until they are either redeemed or expire.
Example 3: If you earn 106 perks on March 5, 100 perks convert to redeemable perks and 6 are in the “amount toward next reward.” If you redeem 100 perks on March 15, the 6 perks in the “amount towards next reward is reset to zero at redemption.
If you shop again on March 25 and earn 38 perks those will be in your “amount towards next reward.” Those 38 perks in your “amount towards next reward” will not be reset to zero at the end of the month because you already earned at least 50 redeemable perks that month.
Can you tell me if I haven’t earned enough perks to keep my “amount towards next”?
Customers who have signed up for Giant Eagle emails will receive an email one week before the end of the month if they have not crossed the 50-perk threshold. This email will let customers know how many perks they must earn to reach 50 perks and maintain their “amount towards next reward”. You can sign up for Giant Eagle emails here. You’ll also get special offers and discounts via email!
How long do I have to use my perks?
Perks expire on rolling Tuesday cycles, two months after the month in which they are earned. Customers are randomly assigned to the first, second, third or fourth Tuesday of the month and perks will always expire on that Tuesday, no less than two months after the month in which the perks were earned.
You can find your assigned Tuesday and perks expiration information on the Giant Eagle app or by logging into GiantEagle.com/perks. If you have perks due to expire, you will be notified on your receipt.
